Campetella plastic part surface treatment: flame treatment for better adhesion and higher product quality
Campetella surface treatment technology, available from Borra, uses flame treatment of plastic parts as a pre-treatment before subsequent painting or component bonding. The solution helps improve the quality of the final product and increases the reliability of downstream processes. Depending on the application requirements, flame treatment can be carried out with the burner mounted on the robot or with a fixed burner. The technology is also suitable for parts with more complex geometries and can be integrated with Cartesian, SCARA and industrial robots.
