A special vacuum system ensures reliable pick-up of a single label, mechanical positioning maintains precise placement in the mould, and a carbon-fibre arm with gripper supports a fast cycle. The solution also helps reduce both compressed air and energy consumption.

SP3 economic return and transparent annual savings

The SP3 robotic sprue picker is supplied with the manufacturer’s calculation model, which makes it possible to determine annual savings and return on investment based on real operating variables. The model works with the parameters of the specific production environment and enables a repeatable and transparent calculation of the financial benefits of automation. This is not a rough estimate, but a structured tool that can be adapted to different types of production and capacity levels.

Reduced compressed air consumption and electrical power input

Campetella’s internal tests evaluated how individual energy-saving technologies affect the energy and compressed air consumption of robotic cells. Dynamic Vacuum technology can reduce compressed air consumption by up to 60% compared to standard vacuum systems. The Float Balanced Axis (FBA) reduces the electrical power input of the vertical Z axis by approximately 20–40% by offsetting its weight. The KERS system (energy recovery) stores braking energy and reuses it during the robot’s next movement, helping reduce the overall energy demand of the operation.
