On-machine assembly: multiple operations in a single cycle without slowing production down
Component assembly directly during the injection moulding machine production cycle is handled by Campetella robots available through Borra — without the need for a separate assembly line. Handles, wheels, closures and other parts are assembled in parallel with production, while a single system can manage multiple components within one cycle.
Insert feeding is controlled by a vision system, and parts can also be printed or fed from external units — all fully synchronised and without operator intervention.
