New TOYO 6s series replaces the 6 series machines
The new 6s series represents a major step forward compared with the previous 6 series generation. It brings modernisation and technological improvements that replace the existing 6 series machines and deliver higher productivity, greater operating comfort and improved production stability. Thanks to innovations in control, structural stability and a broad model portfolio, the new series offers manufacturing companies greater comfort, better molding results and higher operational efficiency, while maintaining low energy consumption and high reliability.
Upgraded SYSTEM800 control system
One of the most visible improvements of the new 6s series is the new SYSTEM800 control system with an 18.5″ touchscreen, developed with a strong focus on user comfort and intuitive operation.
Compared with previous generations, the new system offers:
- intuitive touchscreen control similar to using a mobile device,
- monitoring of machine status and the entire injection molding process on a single screen,
- easy parameter setting without switching between multiple screens,
- high clarity and a logical layout of control elements.
All of this improves operator ergonomics and reduces the time needed to train new employees — everything is where the user expects it to be.
New recording and communication options
The 6s series supports functions that allow operators to:
- add notes directly in the control interface,
- photograph and comment on any deviations or product details using a camera system integrated into the machine* (*not standard equipment),
- share this information with colleagues or the next shift.
This improves communication between shifts and reduces the risk of repeated errors.
Improved injection system design
Another significant innovation is the positioning of the ball screws along the injection unit, directly near its centre.
This results in:
- higher stability of the injection molding process,
- reduced nozzle touch-force fluctuations,
- more even guidance of the injection unit,
- better movement precision and lower wear of mechanical components.
This design improvement supports higher molded part quality as well as machine reliability in long-term operation.
Extended range of clamping forces
The new 6s series expands the existing model portfolio with additional performance variants. In addition to the existing machines, the following clamping force options are now available:
- 550 tonnes,
- 850 tonnes,
- 1,000 tonnes,
while the largest model in the portfolio remains the Si-6 1,300-tonne machine from the 6 series.
Overall, the series covers a very wide range of applications — from small and medium-sized machines to high-performance models suitable for packaging, automotive, medical and technical parts.
Further advantages of the 6s series
The upgraded technology of the 6s series also includes:
- high injection precision thanks to advanced servo-drive technology,
- fast acceleration and high injection speeds,
- high cycle repeatability,
- an extended range of injection units, from small to large volume, covering different production requirements.
Summary of changes and benefits of the 6s series
Key benefits of the new TOYO 6s series:
